Happy Easter Season from the Daughters of St. Paul! We wanted to share with you an Easter letter from our Founder, Bl. James Alberione. He not only speaks of the joy of Easter, but also of what this joy moves us toward--becoming "great saints in Christ"! This Easter season, ask our risen Jesus to guide you to the path of holiness that He has in mind for you!

The whole Church is feasting, as it celebrates the Spouse who conquered the battle against hell, death and his adversaries. The Church even addresses the Queen of Heaven with the Alleluia.
Purified by Good Friday and by confession, and nourished with new life, our soul can savor the joy of a renewed life. Alleluia!
Today we are resurrected in Christ, risen to the Truth, risen to grace, risen to the love of God and to a truly Christian life.

And we shall no longer die; let us ask for great graces--to become saints in Christ! We ask this with full faith, and may it be our faith that compels Divine Mercy.
During this time, recite well the Regina Coeli.*
Having concluded his life, Jesus left us the commission: "Preach the Gospel everywhere."
I bless you abundantly! and I pray for you!

*The Regina Coeli is the Marian antiphon traditionally prayed during the Easter season. It's a great practice (and even a great discernment practice!) to pray it each day of the Easter season! Here's how it goes:

Queen of heaven, rejoice, alleluia.
For he whom you deserved to bear, alleluia,
Has risen as he said, alleluia.
Pray for us to God, alleluia.
Rejoice and be glad, O Virgin Mary, alleluia!
Because our Lord is truly risen, alleluia.
Let us pray:
O God, you mercifully brought joy into the world by the resurrection of your Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ. Grant that we may come to the joy of everlasting life through the prayers of his mother, the Virgin Mary. Throught the same Christ, our Lord. Amen.
